I have bet on countless of rounds of vingt-et-un. I started working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have played online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of bankroll at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it nearly impossible to defeat the house.

I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this method or beat the house, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the fact that 21 appears to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I bet with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original sum.

I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Paris a couple of years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this technique! And a number of days ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You need to understand that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.

Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $5 bet

Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of $10

Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial ten dollar bet

Wager $10
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar bet

Bet 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Bet 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager

Wager $40
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of $80

Bet eighty dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar bet

Wager 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar

Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 1 hundred and sixty dollar bet

If you left at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!

It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
